When she discovered NVC in 2000, she was thrilled to find a practice that supported her in her desire to live compassion and grow world peace from the roots by addressing how we raise and interact with children, and how we practice peace in creating communities that nourish and care for each individual. For this reason and as a mother of four children aged 2 to 24 years, she is dedicated to sharing NVC with parents, families, and community groups, and much of her work addresses this arena.
Ingrid has been a certified NVC trainer since 2006 and a is graduate of the BayNVC Leadership Program. She leads the Parent Peer Leadership Program, an international 9-month leadership program, which is part of the joint CNVC and BayNVC Peaceful Families, Peaceful World Project (initially created by certified trainer Inbal Kashtan of California). She leads retreats and workshops for schools, educators, parents, community groups and workers, and First Nations communitites, as well as for individuals and organisations.
